A SUMMARY OF 2005!!!!

i wanted to do this post around the 1st, but it took me forever to fill out the answers (well, actually i kept putting it off and off, and now its the 13th and i figured that i better hurry up and do it before its time to do "a summary of 2006!!!)

i also filled out the same questions last year.



What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
-lost 30+lbs (whoo-ha!), surved the worst national disaster ever, watched my son walk through his first K classroom, stayed over night in new orleans, had a table at a local craft fair, was without my hubby for 10 weeks and survived, started the process of building a house.

Did you keep your New Years' resolutions? Will you make more for 2006?
-without a doubt! i also say i am going to lose weight and this year i did!!

What places did you visit?
-disney world, knoxville tennessee, tallahassee florida (katrina), new orleans

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
my new digital rebel, my 1st craft fair, my trip with greta to new orleans, my work trip to disney, mike's arrival home, my new ipod mini

What song will always remind you of 2004?
-any of the music we heard at the cat's meow ("i will survive", "wanted dead or alive", "lonely no more", etc 80's great music)

What events merited celebration?
-everyone's bday, mikey's 1st day of K, bella's first day of daycare, mike's arrival home, me losing 30+ lbs.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
-nope

Did anyone close to you die?
-no

What do you wish you'd done more of?
-relax, sleep, play with the kiddos, color, always do more craft stuff, scrapbook more (or at all), read, grill out, plant a garden

What do you wish you'd done less of?
-stress (esp. about work stuff), watch a buncha useless tv

What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
-our new house!!!

What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory?
-august 29th (the day hurricane katrina hit)

What did you want and get?
-an ipod, a real work out of town trip, a better financial situation

What did you want and not get?
-for the hurricane to not hit us

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
-i was supposed to go out with the girls since mike was still in tn, but i got sick

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
-if katrina didn't hit and cause such devistation

What was the best thing you bought?
-mike bought me an ipod

Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
-greta (the same as last year...lol)

-hmm...i'll keep this to myself

-hmm...i didn't have a favorite film i don't think. i don't watch movies too much. sad i know.

-the postal service

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
-sexier (hell yeah baby!!)

-all the new bloggers i "know"

Did you fall in love in 2005?
-i fell a lil bit in love with myself this year. that is not meant to be vain at all. its meant to say that i have fallen a lil more in love with my body and have accepted it. i am *slowly, very slowly* falling in love who i am (faults and all).

Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
-no

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
-losing weight, having my 1st craft fair (and selling something to a stranger), learning microsoft access and being good at it, being *alot* more crafty

What was your biggest failure?
-still not having as much self-esteem as i would like
